The Story Behind Lucky Goat Soaps

At Lucky Goat Soaps, our story is more than just a business—it's a testament to hope, resilience, and a little goat named Lucky. His journey began in the bitter cold of January 2025, born prematurely as a twin with an unlucky start. He lost his mother and brother on the same day, a devastating blow that left him fighting for his life. For four long days, we bottle-fed him, but his condition worsened. Just when we feared the worst, fate intervened. A cow who had just weaned her calf provided a source of fresh, nourishing milk. As soon as Lucky began to drink it, his health miraculously improved. He is now a friendly, happy, and thriving goat, living out his days in the pasture with his Uncle Wooloo.

Lucky was originally destined to be a meat goat, but his incredible story of survival changed our minds. His journey taught us that even in the most difficult circumstances, everyone deserves a little luck. When my son held him one day, I snapped a picture of his sweet expression and knew instantly that this was the perfect logo for my new venture. After a 15-year hiatus, I've returned to the art of handcrafted, artisanal soap making, and this time, I'm doing it with Lucky's spirit in mind.

Our Commitment to Natural Ingredients

At this time, we are proud to offer all-natural, lard-based soaps, with plans to expand into goat milk and beef tallow soaps in the future. Our soap is made with a proprietary blend of four powerful oils, each chosen for its unique benefits to the skin.

  • Coconut Oil: Known for its cleansing properties and its ability to produce a rich, fluffy lather. Coconut oil creates a hard, long-lasting bar of soap.

  • Olive Oil: A classic and essential soap-making oil, olive oil provides a gentle and moisturizing cleanse. It's rich in antioxidants and vitamins, which are excellent for nourishing the skin.

  • Sweet Almond Oil: This oil is fantastic for conditioning the skin, leaving it feeling soft and supple. It helps to create a stable, creamy lather.

  • Castor Oil: A unique oil that boosts lather and adds a smooth, silky quality to the soap. It contributes to a rich and dense foam, making for a luxurious washing experience.

We never use any artificial dyes, glycerins, or parabens. You can choose from our essential oil blends or fixed oils for a pure, natural scent. We pour our hearts into every small batch, ensuring that each bar of soap brings a moment of true luck to your day.
